With opportunities at Yancoal’s Mount Thorley Warkworth mines, we are currently seeking candidates interested in a career within the mining industry for a Plant Mechanic Apprenticeship. Mt Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is a large open pit coal operation located in the NSW Hunter Valley region approximately 10km southwest of Singleton. With a world class fleet of mining equipment and a diverse range of trucks, excavators, draglines, shovels, water carts, graders, dozers & drills there is never a dull moment!

Inherent requirements of employment
• Australian citizen or permanent resident • Must hold a current driver’s licence or have plans to obtain a driver’s licence within the first 12 months (minimum red Ps) • Candidates must live within a one (1) hour drive of Yancoal’s Mount Thorley Warkworth mine sites • All shortlisted candidates will need to undertake and successfully pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol • Recent school leavers must upload last two school reports
