ugl have a short term opportunity for an experienced mechanical workpack engineer to join our perth based team.

the successful candidate will have a proven record of successful development and maintenance of mechanical workpacks for an lng facility.

reporting to the delivery manager you will be responsible for\:

adhere to compliance of all work packs to the approved procedures, inclusive of all associated documentation
maintenance of the project work pack numbering convention
development and upload of work pack documents into the projects scope and document management systems
generate and maintain the work pack documents in the projects control systems and develop content as required
liaise with client/site teams to resolve sqs and expedite reviews
manage and communicate changes to work packs using the approved procedures
communicate the work pack requirements to lead workpack engineer and project engineer
participate in work pack development reviews and furnish documentation to support these reviews
report the progress of work pack development using the project control systems

skills and experience\:

engineering or trade qualification relevant to coatings, insulation, mechanical or electrical and instrumentation disciplines
demonstrated industry experience
demonstrated experience in development and management of work pack / job card delivery
sound knowledge of industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the sites engineering activities.
leading edge knowledge and expertise of construction practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the project engineering activities.
experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.
relevant experience in an industrial services organisation facilitating engineering controls.
reliable, dependable, responsible, flexible, an excellent communicator, strong leadership and seasoned people management skills.
strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
seasoned communication & coordination skills.
ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
