About the Role
As a Work Instruction (WI) Engineer, you will lead the creation and maintenance of WIs using our new WI templates. These WIs will be used in our manufacturing and warehouse spaces to help guide our staff in the consistent creation and despatch of products that meet our design specifications. You will have the opportunity to work in both the office and manufacturing/warehouse areas as well as interact with staff to oversee the implementation of the new WIs. You will also be administering WI usage training and be the main point of contact for anything WI related.

- Is new to the working environment and has recently finished their engineering degree
- Is passionate about organizational solutions that improve process efficiency

- Thoroughly enjoys discovering the intricate details of how products are made and can be improved
- Understands that quality products begin with quality instructions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Particularly Microsoft Word
- Technical Writing & Communication Skills
Preferences
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Biomechanics (how the human body moves) – can be from a sporting background, a course etc.
- Familiarity of manufacturing processes, particularly Lean Manufacturing
- Experience in sewing, hardware construction or DIY
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems
