Position Overview:
As the Well Test and Slickline Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating well test and slickline operations across various oil and gas projects in Australia. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of operations while adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate well test and slickline operations, including planning, execution, and post-job analysis.
- Lead a team of technicians and operators to ensure safe and efficient execution of operations.
- Conduct pre-job meetings to discuss safety procedures, operational plans, and client requirements.
- Monitor job progress, equipment performance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Troubleshoot any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, job reports, and safety documentation.
- Collaborate with client representatives to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in well test and slickline operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of well testing techniques, slickline equipment, and downhole tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
