We’re on the lookout for an experienced Welding Compliance & Operations Coordinator to join our client in Manawatū-Whanganui. This is a key role combining welding supervision, compliance, and operational coordination, supporting both workshop and project delivery.

You’ll take the lead on welding supervision while helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across logistics, production, procurement and QA.

A key focus will be maintaining AS/NZS CC3 quality systems. With strong foundations already in place, we’re looking for an experienced RWC who can take ownership and drive standards through audit and beyond.

What you’ll do:

• Act as responsible welding coordinator
• Oversee welding compliance to WPS, AS/NZS (CC3) and ISO
• Manage QA documentation, traceability and welder qualifications
• Coordinate testing, certifications and inspections
• Support workshop operations, logistics and production flow
• Contribute to quality improvement and H&S standards

  

What you need:

• HERA Welding Supervisor qualification, or equivalent, is essential
• Proven RWC experience
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS & ISO
• Background in heavy fabrication / structural steel
• Ability to read drawings and manage QA processes
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong coordination skills
