What we are looking for:

Council is undertaking an exciting upgrade of our corporate website and we need an experienced website professional to join our team on a temporary basis. Youll be responsible for upgrading the content and structure of our website and manage the transition to a new content management system.

What your day will look like:

  • Developing and implementing a project plan including deliverables and timelines
  • Working closely with subject matter experts throughout the organisation to ensure content is accurate and fit for purpose
  • Reviewing site analytics, layout, and structure taking into consideration legislation and inclusivity requirements
  • Developing a website content strategy and reporting on progress

What youll need for success:

Youll have experience in website creation and will be confident and capable managing a transition process. An understanding of best practice in relation to design, accessibility and user experience will set you up for success.

Youll have:

  • Experience reviewing website information architecture
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to identify key stakeholders and form positive, collaborative relationships
