Warehouse Operator – Q9 Yatala

We have a team of over 250 staff across 18 locations throughout Australia and are committed to large format expansion.

We are seeking highly motivated people with exposure in a similar role or industry to join our brand new Yatala branch (Opening February ).

This is a full-time position working a minimum of 38 hours per week, plus overtime as required.

The Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Operator’s primary focus is to:

• Efficiently complete the various day-to-day activities of Despatch focusing on accuracy of picking, delivery of accurate paperwork to the Administrators, high quality packaging of orders, QA inspections on fabricated stock and general safety
• Achieve 100% DIFOT whilst minimising damage to stock
• Training of new team members on standard operating procedures as requested
• Foster a positive and can-do approach to servicing the needs of Oxworks internal customers (Branches) as a priority

In summary, the Warehouse Operator is a key person in the branch operation, providing the human link between the customer and Oxworks’ warehouse processes.

• Demonstrated warehouse experience in manufacturing environment
• Current forklift license
• Ability to follow clear verbal instructions
• Ability to multitask
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent people and communication skills
