Underground Operator – New to Industry

• Previous experience in a labour-intensive, physical role i.e., farming, labourer 
• Hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol screen.
• Candidates will be required to complete background screening which includes a criminal check.

In this exciting period of growth, several opportunities exist at our Grosvenor Mine site in Moranbah to join our Underground team as an entry level coal mineworker. These roles are suitable for people looking for an opportunity to join our business with limited or no industry experience.  

Together, we will utilise your experience from other industries and help you apply it to mining.  

We have a specialised training team who has tailored practical site-based programs to best support and develop skilled, safe, and confident employees. You will learn the underground coal mining operations as well as be trained in safely operating various diesel vehicles and ancillary equipment pieces such as loaders, drift runners, continuous miners, man transporters, shearers, transformers, crushers, main gate drives, stage loaders, etc.
