Join Our Team as a Training Business Partner in VIC!

Are you passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and empowering teams? We’re looking for a dynamic Training Business Partner to support our VIC Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals teams in delivering high-impact training programs that foster growth, collaboration, and success. This is more than just a training role — it’s about shaping the future of how we learn, grow, and work together at Wellways!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering with VIC Locals Teams: Act as the primary point of contact, supporting the VIC Locals teams with their training needs and helping to implement programs that drive team growth and success.
  • Collaborative Coordination: Work closely with Locals Training Coordinators and the central Wellways Training team to ensure that training is scheduled and delivered in a timely, organized manner.
  • Support Central Wellways Training Team: Provide support to the broader Wellways training team as needed, ensuring alignment and efficiency across all training initiatives.
  • Lead Wellbeing Coaching Project: Dedicate a portion of the role to developing and delivering a Wellbeing focused coaching training model, an important initiative designed to bring valuable lived perspectives into training.
  • Facilitate Training Programs: Lead both online and in-person training sessions for the Locals teams, delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Design Tailored Training Solutions: Scope, develop, and design new training programs for Wellways and Locals staff using adult learning principles to meet their unique needs.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify gaps and future requirements for the Locals teams.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Support the evaluation process to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and results.
  • Lead Weekly Huddles: Take an active role in coordinating and leading weekly huddles between the Wellways training team and Locals Training Coordinators to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.

 You will also need:

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health related field and certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment , Education or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience in training design and development of training packages
  • High level people skills and experience of working in dynamic teams
  • Current valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check (less than 12 months old)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
