Trainer/Assessor, School of Allied Health and Human Services, IHNA
About Role:
The Trainer/Assessor at IHNA delivers high-quality training and support to students, fostering motivation and success. They collaborate with course coordinators to design, refine, and evaluate course materials, ensuring ongoing improvement. All efforts adhere strictly to standards and regulations set forth by ASQA, ANMAC, and other relevant regulatory bodies. This commitment to compliance and quality enhancement creates an environment conducive to effective learning and student achievement.
Desired Skills and Experience
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide academic and administrative support for curriculum development each quarter.
- Upload monthly evidence of industry engagement, clinical placements, and professional development activities. Submit reports on student engagement strategies and creative learning activities. Ensure timely and constructive assessment marking, following Health Careers policies.
- Conduct and report on student satisfaction surveys, maintaining a minimum 75% satisfaction rate.
- Gather and submit feedback from industry partners as per HC policies.
- Support students with learning difficulties to help them successfully complete their courses.
- Participate in monthly RTO and educator meetings.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Vocational competencies at least to the level of qualifications delivered
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE or TAE)
- Must have evidence of recent VET and Industry PD activities;
- Understanding of ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards (desirable).
Please note successful candidates are required to have the following checks:
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) or willing to apply for one.
- Working with Children Check or willing to apply for one.
