the role
we are seeking a qualified and passionate trainer and assessor to deliver industry-standard training and assessment in overhead distribution (uet certificate iii in esi power systems distribution overhead). you will work with apprentices, trainees, and experienced workers, to provide exceptional training that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

the ideal candidate will bring extensive industry knowledge, practical experience, and a dedication to fostering skill development in a dynamic and diverse environment.  this role will form a key part of our support team and is pivotal in driving the success of our operations across our contracts. 

key responsibilities

  • conduct competency-based assessments aligned with national standards.
  • ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • customise training materials to project and learner needs.
  • mentor and guide the workforce throughout their training.to enhance learning outcomes
  • maintain compliance, training records, and documentation.
  • regular travel across wa, vic, qld, and nsw is required.

what you’ll need

  • experience as trainer of esi or vesi programs
  • cert iv in training and assessment (or equivalent); lineworker qualification is a plus.
  • proven track record of successful implementation of training and assessment strategies
  • ability to effectively communicate with a diverse blue and white collar workforce
  • highly organised and able to effectively manage time of self and others
