The Position
This graduate program is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take on leadership roles in feedlot operations. Over 2–3 years, you’ll rotate through the core departments of:
- Milling – an ideal entry point into feedlot life and nutrition fundamentals
- Livestock – extensive exposure to animal health, welfare, and handling
- Maintenance & Administration – broadening your understanding of feedlot logistics, systems, and compliance
You’ll work closely with feedlot managers and owners, take part in industry events, and gain professional development through coaching and mentoring.
The Person
You’re someone who’s driven to learn, ready to get involved, and motivated to build a meaningful career in the beef industry.
- A degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agri Business or a related field (recent or upcoming graduates encouraged to apply)
- A genuine interest in livestock production and supply chain operations
- Practical experience with livestock or exposure to rural/ag environments is highly valued
- Willingness to live onsite and embrace regional life
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
