About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and customer-focused Trade Store Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to both customer service and store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operator 5.5T or 8T forklift confidently and smoothly in store

• Engage with customers face-to-face, via email, and over the phone (FOH Customer Service)

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Record and report customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager following company procedures

• Assist with regular stock takes and inventory counts to maintain accurate records

About You

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous experience in a trade, retail, or warehouse environment (preferred)

• Forklift Licence essential

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
