About the role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced trade assistant to be a part of our clients dynamic and growing team in Bassendean. We have two positions available the night shift  Monday – Thursday, 10pm 6am with Fridays 6pm till 12am orthe afternoon shift Monday Thursday 2pm to 10pm Fridays 12pm 6pm. Afternoon shift has an allowance of $7.56 and Night Shift has $8.54 PH loading.

In this role, you will:

• Operate the CNC Lathe (Okuma)
• Read job card instructions and technical drawings
• Liaising with the WorkShop Supervisor
• Ensuring compliance of Components
• Operate machinery, usage of tools and equipment (such as OKUMA, grinders, saws, drills)
• Identify routine problems/faults in machines and process operations and act as required
• Use of basic numeracy skills
• Load and unload products as required

What you will need:

• OKUMA Experience (preferred) CNC Lathes
• Experience with Data entry
• WA driver’s License
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
• Experience as a TA / CNC Operator or similar roles
