About the role
As our Territory Manager, you will be the spark that ignites customer satisfaction and sales growth. Your enthusiasm will help you connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide them with top-notch solutions. You will manage an existing portfolio predominantly in Residential, Roofing & Retail, hunt out new business opportunities, and bring innovative ideas to the table.

A day in the life of Territory Manager is all about…
  • Customer Relationship Management: Service, maintain, and seek out new customer accounts with your infectious energy.
  • New Business Generation: Follow up on leads and convert them to expand your territory and market share.
  • Sales Excellence: Maintain product sales in a competitive market to achieve maximum sales and margins.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customers are delighted and encouraged to return, thanks to your positive approach.
  • Product Promotion: Highlight the benefits and uses of our products, including manufactured and bought-in-lines (BIL).
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement territory sales plans in line with Sales and Marketing strategies.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in company communication strategies, including customer service meetings and briefings.
  • Market Feedback: Provide timely and accurate market insights and intelligence.

About you

  • 3 5 years minimum experience in sales within the building and construction industry.
  • Proven experience in account management, time management, and margin management.
  • High-level interpersonal skills, including effective communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to develop rapport with customers and handle challenging situations with a smile.
  • Sound negotiating, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team centric be a leader and a player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude under pressure.

This role offers a supportive and focused environment for you to further your career. We work flexibly and when not out on the road with clients, you can work from either the office or home. This role comes with the expectations of 1 week of travel per month but is rewarded with a car and great incentive package.
