The ACT Integrity Commission invites you to register your interest in non-ongoing employment across our functions in the following groups: Corporate and Administration, Assessments, Investigations, Legal and Corruption Prevention and Education.
We are looking for people to bring external ideas, varied experience and broad perspectives to support our objective: investigating, exposing and preventing corruption in the ACT and fostering public confidence in the integrity of government. About the ACT Integrity Commission
The ACT Integrity Commission is an independent body and law enforcement agency with powers under the Integrity Commission Act 2018. Under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2012, the Commission is also responsible for administering and overseeing the Public Interest Disclosures scheme in the ACT.
The Temporary Employment Register
The Temporary Employment Register is open for candidates to register a general Expression of Interest for employment with the ACT Integrity Commission. The Temporary Employment Register enables the Commission to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at short notice for non-ongoing or temporary positions.
Positions available through this register vary in duration, but you could be engaged for periods up to 12 months. Opportunities may be offered on a full-time, part-time or intermittent/irregular (casual) basis depending on operational requirements. Applications will be kept on file for 12 months from the date of application.
We would welcome expressions of interest from all professions, including:
- administration and governance
- human resources
- information technology
- communications and media
- legal services
- strategic and operational intelligence
- investigations
- digital and accounting forensics
- property and facilities
- project management
Eligibility/Other Requirements: Under Section 50 of the Act, we cannot employ persons who have been ACT public servants in the last five years. Employees of some ACT bodies (e.g. the ACT DPP and the Legal Aid Commission (ACT)) are not captured by this exclusion. Please contact the Commission if you are unsure about your status.
To be eligible for temporary employment, applicants must be either Australian citizens, or have permanent resident status and be CoVID-19 vaccinated.
The preferred applicant will be required to successfully undergo a police record check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a specified clearance level. Due diligence checks will be conducted prior to an offer being made.
