What You’ll Do• Conduct required repairs and maintenance on a range of mobile equipment• Demonstrate visible safe working practices, manage risk and report hazards• Work with minimal supervision & carry out assigned work orders• Perform breakdown activities in a safe and proficient manner• Contribute to a positive and collaborative organisational culture What You’ll Bring• Be self-motivated & enjoy working in a team environment with a high focus on Safety• Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining mobile equipment such as CAT & Hitachi (Rotary blast hole Drill exp. advantageous)• Relevant Trade qualification including NSW Certificate of Proficiency (post trade hydraulics ticket advantageous)• Confident in using Microsoft packages • High risk work licenses such as EWP, Working at heights, Forklift, Crane & dogman (desirable)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Why Whitehaven Coal?• Permanent role with career development, mentorship and coaching • 26 weeks paid parental leave | 5 weeks annual leave | 15 days personal leave• Employee referral scheme – $4k for successful referrals!• STRIVE recognition and awards Scheme• An exciting time to join an emerging mine with a strong focus on culture!
