Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Director – Electrical (Substation Design / Renewable Energy) to join our Brisbane-based Power Team. You would be adept in the design and integration of renewable energy systems into power grids.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Leveraging expertise in electrical engineering principles to drive sustainable and impactful energy solutions, contributing significantly to the evolution of clean energy integration
  • Spearheading the development and implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity, and optimizing the performance of renewable energy sources within the grid infrastructure

What you will bring to the team:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Must have Registered professional engineer under the professional Engineers Act of Queensland (RPEQ)
  • 10 years’ experience working in large scale projects, mainly in HV Substation Design (preferably gained in Australia) up to 275kV, large scale BESS, Windfarms and Solar farm development
  • Strong Understanding of technical design standards and demonstrated experience in design and delivery of large-scale substation and transmission/distribution projects
  • Ability to mentor and guide a team of junior engineers on challenging large-scale projects and consistent record of successful project delivery.
