The purpose of the Team Manager In-Life role is to deliver Service to our NLIs for all Managed Novated Accounts.

Core responsibilities 

  • Management of the Novated In-Life Consultants – ensuring cost-effective staffing model to meet anticipated customer volumes.
  • Overseeing and prioritisation of all tasks received and required to be completed post settlement for Novated Managed accounts
  • Ensuring SLAs (Service Level Agreement) of the Novated In-Life tasks are met
  • Effective management of arrears portfolio for the novated business through issuing of arrears reports to Introducers and actioning of account queries
  • Effective management of novated contracts / accounts to ensure acceptable portfolio performance
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand process and ensure timely action on requests
  • Liaising with external stakeholders to provide proactive support on accounts in arrears, customer complaints and account queries
  • Understand processes with the Novated business to identify impacts on portfolio performance
  • Assist in documentation of standard operating procedures for In Life processes for Novated business
  • Proactive complaint management
  • Effective and timely communication with Novated Relationship Managers on any individual issues or portfolio trends & requirements
  • Regular communication / meetings with our NLIs on their individual requirements as required
  • Strong knowledge base on system and internal processes for collections and other support businesses

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Finance – Desired
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business or equivalent – Desired

Experience

  • Experience in Financial Services roles
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience in a startup environment or within Financial Services (Auto Finance) desirable
  • Effective management & allocation of arrears portfolio, and all post-settlement
  • Administration tasks
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong internal and external relationship management
  • Dynamic self-starter and results driven
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proactively manage operational risk
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
