About the Role:  
Were growing our ICT team and need a Systems Engineer to handle Level 3 support, troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues. Youll ensure the stability of our ICT infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Helpdesk Team and mentoring Level 1-2 staff.

Youll also assist the Senior Infrastructure Engineer with maintenance and projects, supporting our on-premise-heavy environment with some cloud services and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support Resolve complex Level 3 ICT issues and assist Level 1-2 support staff.
  • Infrastructure Management Maintain servers, virtualization, cloud services, and troubleshoot networking equipment, SD-WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches. Conduct security, compliance, and performance audits.
  • Desktop Support Handle escalated desktop and end-user issues, manage software updates, patches, and security, and advise on hardware/software procurement.
  • Communication Provide ICT support in a fast-paced environment, liaising with staff and end users via phone, email, and in person. Support the Software Development team.
  • Documentation Maintain accurate records of service desk tasks, configurations, issues, and resolutions following ITIL/ITSM best practices.

Desired Experience & Requirements:

  • 2 years in Level 3 ICT support or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong task prioritization skills, including helpdesk ticket management.
  • Bachelors degree in ICT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications (CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified Administrator) desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of: Remote Desktop Services, Hypervisors, VoIP systems Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra, SCCM/Intune. SQL Database, IIS management. Scripting (CMD, PowerShell, VBA, Excel Macros, .Net, APIs). Confluence, ManageEngine ServiceDesk, ZohoCRM.
  • Experience with fleet tracking systems, bespoke applications, and hardware/software installation.
  • Both On Premises and Cloud experience required
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and work outside business hours.
  • Valid C-class drivers license (manual preferred)
  • Australian / NZ or Permanent Resident (Must have)
