Our client is seeking a Surveyor to lead and deliver surveying activities across a range of high-profile civil infrastructure projects. About the Role


As Senior Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for managing all on-site surveying operations including set-out, earthworks design, as-built documentation, and survey reporting. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance across projects, while mentoring junior surveyors and liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform earthwork cut/fill and design calculations, and produce detailed survey drawings.
• Deliver topographical surveys, cross-sections, and elevation maps.
• Conduct field surveys and update construction drawings.
• Operate and maintain GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment.
• Use Civil CAD, Magnet, and Trimble Business Center for data processing and plan preparation.
• Set out drainage, roads, boundaries, and structures to design specifications.
• Prepare as-built plans and maintain accurate survey records.
• Provide data for monthly progress claims and cost estimates.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to clarify survey requirements.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

About You

• 5 years’ experience in civil construction/earthworks, with proven leadership in a senior surveying role.
• Proficient in Civil CAD, Magnet, and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong technical skills in GPS, total stations, and modern survey technologies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage multiple project requirements.
