We Know Drilling
Due to continued growth within our Surface Minerals Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Drillers to become a valued member in our drilling crews where you will understand the requirements of the drilling program and liaise with your supervisor to ensure successful completion of the works. The roster is 14 days on and 7 days off. FIFO from an agreed POH or DIDO within an acceptable distance.
Duties
- Consistently apply sound drilling practices and techniques within your range of competence
- Execute the hole plan
- Drill accurately and diligently to maximise ‘Bit on Bottom’
- Minimise breakage and down hole loss
- Carry out basic preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment / BHA
Skills and Experience
- Must hold an Australian HR Licence is mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring
- An ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR
- Experience on Sandvik DE880 and Boart Longyear LF160 rigs or similar is highly desirable
- Certificate III Drilling in Operations is mandatory
