The Role

• Various Maintenance Shutdowns and Project works
• Conduct or participate in daily pre-starts and tool box meetings;
• Identify, assess and control workplace hazard. Hazards may be reported through hazard report cards, JHAs, workplace inspections, incident investigations or audits.
• Formulate safe methods of work in consultation with the HSE Advisor and workforce personnel. This includes safety and risk related documentation such as SWPs, JHAs and take 5s. Ensure the workforce is using documentation as stipulated in the HSE plan.
• Participate in all HSE initiatives;
• Participate in the risk assessments where required;
• Maintaining good housekeeping across the work area;

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate or HRWL
• Construction White Card
• Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
• Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
• Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
• Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
