Join Uniting as our Student Placements Specialist, where youll develop and deliver a best-in-class student placements program to build a robust talent pipeline for our workforce.
About the Role:
As the Student Placement Specialist, you will design, manage and deliver Unitings student placements program, driving participation, and ensuring an outstanding experience for students and Uniting service managers alike. Your role will focus on:
- Student Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end student placement journey, from sourcing, recruitment, compliance collection for upwards of 700 student each year.
- Internal Stakeholder Management: Work with upwards of 150 Uniting services to raise awareness and drive placement engagement through understanding Unitings workforce needs and opportunities to attract students accordingly.
- Talent Pipeline Creation: Partner with Unitings Talent Acquisition team to identify pathways for student employment within Uniting.
- Program Development: Work with the Volunteering Lead to enhance the program, including establishing documented processes and a high performing program model.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational providers to attract students aligned with Unitings workforce needs.
- Develop and deliver Training & Resources: Create and deliver training for managers, alongside handbooks and resources for both students and managers.
About You:
Youre an organised, people-focused professional who enjoys creating impactful programs and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. You bring:
- Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 years in student placement management, high-volume program management, or talent acquisition. Strong stakeholder management with experience engaging groups of 100 participants. Proven ability to manage high-volume activities and drive efficient workflows.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Problem-solving and relationship-building in complex organisational settings. Process-oriented with attention to detail. Recruitment experience.
- Bonus Experience: Business development. Program design and implementation.
