Stores Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Stores Officer you will be part of a passionate team working a lifestyle DIDO roster 8:6. This permanent opportunity will report to the Senior Procurement Officer and be a vital member of the Warehouse Team.
You will be working within a team that provides Purchasing, Inventory, Warehousing and Contract Services to the mine site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Receiving, sorting, checking stock against delivery dockets, distribution and recording of goods, materials and equipment
- Loading and unloading of freight
- Good organisational skills in storing stock and material in a safe manner
- Keeping yard and working areas clean, tidy and safe and maintaining a high level of housekeeping
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
ABOUT YOU
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Stores Officer, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Word and Excel
- Experience with a warehouse database (ERP) system such as Pronto or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide superior service to internal and external clients.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- High level attention to detail.
- An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Must have C Class Drivers Licence.
- Must have reliable transport to drive-in, drive-out to site on roster.
- Current High Risk Work Licence LF (Forklift).
- HR/MR truck Licence highly desirable.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
- Strong work ethic with integrity.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- You MUST live within a 200 km radius of Ravenswood Gold mine site
