About the Role:

As the Senior Storeperson, you’ll lead all aspects of inventory and warehouse operations, with a key focus on system development and process optimisation. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in technical, hands-on environments and is ready to take full ownership of the inventory function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage receiving, issuing, tracking, and reconciling of all stock items
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and set reorder thresholds
• Proactively address obsolete and slow-moving stock
• Develop and implement a digital inventory management system
• Integrate system with workshop and procurement processes
• Mentor and supervise store personnel and apprentices
• Ensure efficient, compliant warehouse layout and operations
• Drive documentation accuracy and stock traceability

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years’ experience in a senior inventory/store role, preferably in heavy mechanical/industrial environments
• Strong understanding of parts and consumables for heavy equipment
• Demonstrated experience developing or implementing inventory systems (ERP, MRP, or custom)
• Proficiency with Excel and inventory platforms
• Solid organisational and leadership skills
• Forklift ticket (required)
