About the Property
Helen Springs Station is a 5,600 km breeding property in the Barkly Tablelands, NT, running up to 31,500 head of cattle. The station complex is set among lush green gardens and lawns and offers excellent amenities, including a swimming pool and social club. Team members benefit from extensive training delivered by industry professionals, supporting career development in a friendly and supportive team environment. Throughout the year, mustering and general station operations are complemented by a vibrant calendar of social events across the NT.
About the Role
You will be the go-to person for all things food on-station, making sure our team is well-fed and happy. Your days will include:
- Planning and preparing tasty, home-style meals for staff and guests
- Managing kitchen hygiene, cleaning, and safety standards
- Ordering supplies and keeping the pantry stocked
- Looking after equipment and maintaining a well-run kitchen
- Lending a hand with light household tasks when needed
About You
- Experience cooking for groups (ideally in a remote or station setting)
- Understanding of food hygiene and nutrition
- Confidence running a kitchen solo
- A calm, can-do attitude and a genuine love of station life
- Strong communication and a sense of humour
