About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in driving the culinary vision of the restaurant. Acting as 2IC to the Head Chef, you’ll oversee kitchen operations, mentor junior staff, and contribute to menu innovation. This hands-on role demands creativity, leadership, and a dedication to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Fully qualified Chef with a passion for seafood and fresh, local ingredients.
- Experience in high-volume commercial kitchens, ideally in a la carte dining.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of WHS and food safety standards, with a commitment to compliance.
- Reliable, adaptable, and open to feedback, with a drive for continuous improvement.
