About you:
As part of our team, you’ll work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional Saturday overtime. We’re looking for candidates who possess well-developed knife handling and technical skills, including knife sharpening. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must, as is a history of excellent reliability, attendance, and timekeeping at work. We take pride in delivering quality workmanship that meets our customer specifications, so a commitment to this is essential.
Safety is our top priority, so you must be dedicated to working safely in line with policies, procedures, PPE, and work instructions. We value teamwork and adaptability, as well as a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility, processes, and tasks. The ability to work within a cold storage environment and with raw meat products is required. Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime when required are also important.
To ensure you can safely fulfill the physical requirements of the role, you will need to participate in a functional capacity assessment, including drug and alcohol testing. Additionally, a skills assessment will be conducted.
