Due to a new project being awarded in the Sydney area, we are seeking x2 experienced SMP Site Supervisors to join the Saunders International team on a permanent full-time basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure quality work is maintained by all personnel and sub-contractors.
- Maintain and foster further client relationships, with the focus of providing additional services and support.
- Supervise site activity and team members including direct Leading Hands, Tradespeople and Apprentices
- Complete labour task activity time keeping, for all Projects assigned daily.
- Plan the work and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Report potential industrial relation problems.
- Plan and forecast of manning levels in co-operation with the Project Manager.
- Ensure correct materials ordering procedures are adhered to by checking received materials against packing list and notifying project management team if there are any discrepancies.
- Strict compliance with all policies and procedures such as engineering method statements or company OH&S requirements.
- Ensure all plant and equipment onsite is maintained in a serviceable condition and reports any damage to equipment immediately to the Equipment and Stores Manager.
- Completion of Critical Control Field Verifications
- Provide input to project schedule updates.
- Prepare and run toolbox meeting and pre-start meeting with the team.
- Review of new and existing SWMS/procedures for further enhancement and present content to the HSE and work crew.
