Our FCM – Facilities management department is part of the global real estate group for Bosch worldwide. FCM is responsible for facilities, services, operations and maintenance for Clayton and supports our Oceania locations.
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join us as a Site Security Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our headquarters in Clayton, Melbourne which may involve some domestic travel.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Day to day management of the physical site security to ensure security compliance, processes, procedures, and instructions reflecting company actual requirements and operations.
- Management of facilities related digital applications in accordance with company data security requirements including Cyber security & operational strategy.
- Facilities department key contact for any data security related topics.
- Experience and ability to conduct security related risk assessments.
- Security incident investigation and reporting.
- Oversee security contract and coordination of monthly management review.
- Routine check and reporting of operational security measures with aim for continuous improvement including compliance, efficiency, and cost.
- Operate, provide reports and configuration of access control and security alarm system with aim to optimise system.
- Develop security related policies and procedures in conjunction with key strakeholderds.
- Coordinate with technical contractors for maintenance and installations of technical security systems.
- Administration – Video & key management systems, document storage and destruction etc.
The successful applicant will have exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, be a team player and have excellent organisational, time management, interpersonal and communications skills.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A Certificate in Security and Risk Management is preferred.
- Certificate in I.T / Cyber Security
- Demonstrated experience in Security and Risk Management is essential
- Experience in security access control, alarm, and vision systems
- Demonstrated ability to foster continous improvement
- Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel skills
- Occasional travel to other Bosch sites, warehouses, and scrap yards within metropolitan Melbourne, valid Australian Driving License essential
- Proactive with strong problem-solving skills
- Eye for detail with emphasis on process
- Ability to handle topics of a confidential / sensitive nature with discretion
