We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee our clients Class 2 Residential Project in Port Stephens. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Our client also does a lot of commercial refurbishment projects as well, so if you have experience on commercial projects as well that would be an added bonus!

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
Supervise and manage on-site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or risks promptly.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise on site.
Maintain accurate records of construction activities and expenses.
Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
Promote and enforce sustainable construction practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role and has completed Class 2 Residential Projects from start to finish
Excellent knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
