MDJV is one of three Major Framework Partners working together with our client to deliver a $1.6bn Capital Delivery Program to improve water and sewerage services for South Australians. McConnell Dowell Diona Joint Venture

(MDJV) are seeking an enthusiastic Site Engineer to join the Project.  As a key member of the worksite management team, successful candidate will enjoy mentoring and support from a broader team of highly experienced engineers and construction professionals.

Key duties:

  • Assist with the efficient delivery of Engineering works including civil, electrical, mechanical and structural infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer and/or Area Manager and/or Superintendent/Supervisor as necessary for planning and resourcing to maintain the Framework schedule.
  • Ensure the currency and accuracy of information for schedules and reports, provide timely submission of reports and project schedules.
  • Provide general technical assistance to supervisory staff as requested.
  • Conduct regular checks of the site to ensure environmental controls such as sediment controls and dust suppression are functioning effectively

Key requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in construction, civil, or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum three (3) years post graduate experience in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others.
  • Be able to juggle multiple priorities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team orientated environment.
