What Youll Be Doing
- Execute industrial painting and blasting tasks during planned maintenance and shutdown operations
- Prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting techniques, ensuring compliance with technical and industry standards
- Apply protective coatings and industrial-grade paints to mining assets
- Uphold a strong focus on safety, quality control, and efficient work practices throughout each job
- Work closely with supervisors, trades, and shutdown crews to ensure timely and successful project delivery
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience as an industrial painter/blaster, ideally in the mining, resources, or heavy industrial sectors
- Olympic Dam inducted / BHP site-ready candidates will be highly regarded
Current certification in:
- White Card (Essential)
- Working at Heights within 2 years (Essential)
- Confined Space Entry within 2 years (Essential)
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant work
- A reliable, adaptable team player with a proactive and safety-conscious approach
