We are currently seeking experienced and proactive Shotfirers to join our team and drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our health, safety, environmental, and quality systems across corporate and operational sites.

Role Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and proactive Shotfirers to join our team on a full-time basis, for multiple mining projects around WA on various rosters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate equipment and people to deliver blasts on time
• Be familiar with a range of electric and non-electric and blasting accessories, and bulk products
• Management of magazines and stocktakes
• Co-ordination of signage, clearance, and notification for blasting
• Post blast inspections
• Oversee the on-the-job training and safe work compliance of shot crew members
• Communicate professionally with Supervision, Engineers and Clients
• Safe use, transport, and handling of explosives

About You:

We are seeking submissions from suitable candidates to fill this pivotal role who can bring to the table:

• More than 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Current Unrestricted Shotfirers Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Clearance
• Australian C Class Drivers licence, with the ability to achieve HR licence within 6 months.
