IMC is expanding and looking for experienced Shotfirer.  You will safely prepare, position and detonate explosives, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities 

• Coordinate and carry out all blasting activities with precision and care.
• Rigorously adhere to safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Ensure all legislative and company requirements are met.
• Manage magazine stock takes and oversee the delivery of explosives.
• Maintain accurate records of all blast-related activities.
• Lead and coordinate the drill and blast crew as required.

Success in this role requires you to have 

• Minimum of 4 years’ involvement in drill and blast operations
• Familiarity with Nonel or EBS is beneficial
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Valid Shotfirer’s Licence
• Schedule 26 desirable
• Unrestricted Driver’s Licence
• Knowledge of explosives and blasting techniques
• Proven ability to communicate safety protocols effectively
