Were seeking experienced and safety-focused Shotfirers to join a high-performing drill & blast team on a long-term contract in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a well-established site with modern equipment, strong safety culture, and consistent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and efficient blasting operations in accordance with site procedures
- Handle, transport, and use explosives in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with drill and production teams to optimize blast outcomes
- Complete pre- and post-blast inspections and reporting
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
What Were Looking For
- Current WA Shotfirer Licence
- Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
- Previous experience in open-pit mining operations
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing conditions
