Were seeking experienced and safety-focused Shotfirers to join a high-performing drill & blast team on a long-term contract in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a well-established site with modern equipment, strong safety culture, and consistent work.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe and efficient blasting operations in accordance with site procedures
  • Handle, transport, and use explosives in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with drill and production teams to optimize blast outcomes
  • Complete pre- and post-blast inspections and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols

What Were Looking For

  • Current WA Shotfirer Licence
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
  • Previous experience in open-pit mining operations
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing conditions
