Service Person

Golding is seeking a skilled Service Person to join our team at the Kogan Creek Coal Mine, located near Chinchilla.

As the operator of the Kogan Creek open cut Coal Mine we are excited to share that we have just signed a 4yr extension at Kogan Creek, with the contract term now until June .

This is a permanent, full-time residential role. Candidates must reside locally during their 7/7 roster, as accommodation is not provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Preferably hold a mechanical trade qualification or demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
• Perform daily refuelling and servicing of a wide range of mining equipment.
• Inspect equipment for defects during servicing and complete maintenance tasks as per service sheets.
• Assist maintenance personnel with additional tasks as required.
• Stay up to date with task instructions and procedures, while supporting colleagues in doing the same.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks related to the role.

Role Requirements

• Prior experience working on heavy-duty mining equipment (essential).
• Trade qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Valid drivers license.
• Current Standard 11 certification.
• Certifications for operating mobile equipment (advantageous).
• RII competency training records (advantageous).
• Strong understanding and adherence to site safety systems.
• Ability to work safely, professionally, and productively in a mining environment.
