About the role:
We seek experienced underground Service Crew to join our mining operations within the Cobar region. If youre motivated and excited by longer-term career options, this role may suit you.

Roster: 7/7 roster and a 12 hour day (rotating days & nights).

Location: Family friendly residential arrangements in Cobar. Be generously supported to relocate.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation and repair of mine services including ventilation ducting, air and water pipelines, dewatering pump lines and firing lines.
• Installation of secondary fans.
• Manual installation of grouted cable bolts along with plate and tensioning of cables.
• Delivery of underground consumables to ensure mine production and development activities run smoothly.
• Safe operation of Integrated Tool Carriers.
• Safe operation and maintaining equipment in clean and tidy condition

About You:

You will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally with underground experience, as well as:

• At least 2 years experience in a similar underground role
• C class drivers licence
• Ability to manage resources effectively, through efficient time management practises.
• Security Clearance (UHL) highly desirable.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability, team work and communication capability.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster rotation days and nights.
• Commitment to working safely, and living our Values to promote a positive, continuous improvement culture.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks including medical, drug & alcohol testing, Australia police checks and qualification checks.
• Right to work in Australia.
