Senior Work Order Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Work Order Coordinator to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring timely and high-quality completion of work orders that support essential services. Reporting to the Senior Team Leader, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
This is a max term contract until July

What Youll Do 

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Coordinate and manage all stages of the Work Order Management Lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Liaise with Service Delivery Providers and internal stakeholders to meet contractual KPIs and improve service outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyse work order trends, proactively identifying solutions to improve timeliness and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and escalate feedback or service issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Represent Downer professionally in all forums and contribute to quarterly performance reviews and team collaboration.

What Youll Bring 

  • Strong experience in operational maintenance delivery and data analysis.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office, and strong organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to set priorities, solve problems, and deliver outcomes under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Time management skills are crucial ensuring high priority work orders are managed through to completion.
  • Proactive approach is crucial to manage tight deadlines and coordinating tradespeople.
  • Trades qualification would be advantageous, or experience within residential property maintenance.
