We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator with strong working experience across Citrix to join a skilled team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. About the role
- Provide 3rd level technical support, service delivery, technical problem troubleshooting and proactive maintenance of remote access technologies, specifically the Citrix Solutions and Azur VDI
- Provide expert services in relation to planning, design, testing and implementing server and operating systems across the infrastructure.
- Analyse, recommend, design, implement and manage changes and updates to the software, including major upgrades, security features, patches, and minor version updates, customisations and configurations.
- Actively participate in the management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that technical support and issue resolution is provided and high-quality customer service is delivered.
- Actively seek, create, and execute opportunities for business process improvements as well as improvements insecurity measures, standards and best practices aimed at enhancing the availability, security and performance of solutions across the systems.
- Actively partaking in the Bank Core-Modernisation Program by providing proxy expertise as well as contributing in the design and implementation
About you
- Advance training and experience in VDI Solutions, particularly Citrix Cloud
- Experience in Planning, design, and deployment of Citrix and AzureVDI solutions
- Experience in migration from Citrix On-premises to Citrix Cloud
- Strong 2nd level troubleshooting skills to ensure problems are resolved within a timely manner.
- Strong documentation skill with the ability to produce and maintain high-level and detailed level design documents.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills.
- Experience with IT frameworks, such as IT service management (ITIL) and project management
