Were looking for an experienced Senior Safety Coordinator to join our team for the Major Road Upgrade Project on Grange Road, South Australia. This important infrastructure project aims to ease congestion, improve safety, and enhance connectivity at a key intersection. In this role, youll oversee safety management systems on-site, ensuring a safe working environment while contributing to the success of a high-impact project.

About the role:
Coordinate and mitigate safety risks on site, to assist in the achievement of project objectives, ensure compliance with SW Safety policy, systems and promote a positive safety culture.
- Mentor site personnel to improve workplace health and safety on individual sites.
- Conduct site inspections / audits and provide feedback including associated recommendations to project personnel.
- Assess risks and opportunities for improving Safety Management.
- Assist in managing workplace health and safety on project sites, including providing timely and relevant advice on all safety related matters.
- Provide advice to Project Managers and personnel regarding all safety management requirements.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrate a passionate and energetic approach to safety.
- Possess a can-do positive attitude, with a team first approach. Work willingly with others in a collaborative manner.
- Certificate IV qualification in OHS.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
- Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Certification.
- Certification in First Aid (Basic).
- Current C-Class Drivers Licence.
