This company specialises in aged care and education construction, with a focus on both refurbishments and new builds. Currently managing up to 15 projects valued up to $10M, the business is expanding and aiming to take on projects up to $20M . As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to help build the business, elevate operations, and strengthen client relationships.

Your new role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple projects valued up to $10M, ensuring seamless execution, cost control, and timely delivery. Working closely with the Pre-Construction Manager, they will manage Early Contractor Involvement (ECIs), full project programming, client handovers, and team leadership, liaising with Site Managers and Contract Administrators.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving project success and fostering strong relationships with clients. This role is based in the company’s brand-new Newcastle office, with two days per week required on-site at project locations across NSW. Accommodation for overnight stays will of course be covered by the company, as well as car allowance/company car.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager (or a Project Manager with strong experience and project portfolio in education or aged care ready to step up).
  • Tier 1 or 2 construction experience, having managed education and aged-care projects valued between $20M-$50M.
  • A strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Expertise in project timelines, budgets, and seamless execution.
  • Leadership skills, capable of managing teams and liaising effectively with stakeholders.
