They are looking for an experience Senior Project Engineer that has done a metro type project before and has extensive experience with structure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
- Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on projects over $100 mil
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1,2 or 3 Builder within the Australian market
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
- Reliable references
- Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
