As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of Pay products across Australia and New Zealand.

You will be actively owning and managing the product strategy, experience and roadmap while ensuring that key initiatives are well managed and that all elements of the value chain are operating effectively to drive optimal commercial outcomes for Pay and the broader enterprise.

  • Successfully manage an entire product lifecycle from concept to launch to end of life, ensuring timely execution and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all AU & NZ existing and new products are fully compliant and that all relevant policies and procedures to manage risk and compliance in AU & NZ are always applied.
  • Understanding performance of current products as well as market trends for the development of future products taking into account the competitive context, our strategic capabilities and the ability to execute strongly to drive long-term, sustainable revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends for the development of new products, features and benefits taking into account the competitive context, strategic capabilities, customer desirability and the ability to execute strongly to drive long-term, sustainable growth.
  • Develop and execute on product strategy with consideration of new product development or the enhancement of existing products and services to meet the needs of defined target customer and market segments and manage the strategic initiatives pipeline.
  • Design, manage and co-ordinate delivery of strategic product and experience roadmap to deliver best in class experience.
  • Responsible for developing both short- and long-range product plans, value propositions including customer journeys, pricing models, contracts and product roadmaps,
  • Identifies, evaluates and prioritises business cases for new business and product opportunities, and builds business models to substantiate the opportunity and ‘size of the prize’.
  • Delivering against financial results set in annual operating plans and objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate with all stakeholders in the development and timely delivery of agreed product and technology roadmaps.
  • Provision of original thought to resolve issues and create new business opportunities.
  • Work with external partners to drive innovation in product design and delivery to enhance and differentiate against the competition.
  • Build, lead, and coach a high performing team culture to deliver KPI’s and revenue targets.
  • Provide leadership in guiding cross functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve product objectives.
  • Apply relevant CX/UX principles to manage and continuously improve the end-to-end customer experience from onboarding, engagement, servicing and understand of downstream risk actions across these portfolios
  • Actively monitor customer feedback, product satisfaction and advocacy to recommend and deliver product and experience changes.

About you:

  • Experience: 5 years in a product & portfolio management role, preferably with a strong focus on financial services products – credit card experience a bonus, however not essential.
  • Expertise: Successfully managed an entire product lifecycle from concept to launch & end of life, ensuring timely execution and continuous improvement.
  • Engagement: We really need someone that understands engagement with scheme’s – pricing and how it drives investment and product pricing etc
  • Product Leadership: Strong leadership in guiding cross functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve product objectives.
  • Problem solving: Identifies challenges and roadblocks, developing creative solutions to mitigate risks to keep product development on track.
  • Competencies: Strong business acumen, critical thinking and thought leadership that delivers solution-oriented results to consumers
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, capable of using market research and customer insights to drive product enhancements.
