The opportunity
An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Senior People Partner to join our team. As an HR professional, you will provide strategic guidance and support to leaders and staff across the university, driving people initiatives that align with our goals and values. Youll work closely with leadership teams to manage and support effective change, foster a positive culture, enhance performance, and address employee relations, ensuring we maintain a high-performing and supportive workplace. Your expertise will be vital in shaping the future of the university and the success of our people.
As a Human Resources professional, you will be comfortable in providing valuable insights, underpinned by risk mitigated advice and solutions across a wide range of people related matters. Supported by specialist People Portfolio teams that include Workplace Relations, Payroll, People Services, Organisational Development and Talent, Senior People Partners collaborate in connecting the people needs of the University to deliver robust people and strategic related outcomes.
What will help you succeed
Together with your relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or Organisational Development, your extensive work experience will showcase:
- Demonstrated HR business partnering experience.
- Proven strategic and operational HR expertise.
- Experience in responding to and managing complex cases, organisational change, and workforce planning matters.
- High level knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant employment legislation, policies, and practices.
- Strong communication, relationship management and influencing skills.
