We are seeking a passionate Senior Metallurgist to join our Jameson Cell Technology Team in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with advanced flotation technology and contribute to the development and implementation of Jameson Cells, with additional exposure to IsaMill and Albion technologies. As a Senior Metallurgist, you will support key business strategies and sales activities related to the Jameson Cell and Jameson Concentrator technologies, as well as other technologies as required. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise in equipment sizing, mass balancing, flowsheet development, class studies, site commissioning, user support, and stakeholder engagement. You will report directly to the Manager of Jameson Flotation. The role will include some travel, both domestic and internation.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing technical expertise in equipment sizing, mass balancing, flowsheet development, and class studies
• Support the development, marketing, investigation, and implementation of the Jameson Cell and our other technologies.
• Design, oversee, and assist with testwork programs and equipment/plant design.
• Provide technical assistance for project delivery and commissioning.
• Offer ongoing support to technology users and key stakeholders.
• Assist with the training and development of more junior members of the technology team
• Generate and present technical papers, short courses, and presentations to key stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing.
• At least five years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on minerals processing.
• Experience in operations and flotation circuit design would be viewed favorably.
• Flotation experience and/or knowledge of Jameson Cells (operational or technical).
• Additional experience in grinding, stirred milling, and hydrometallurgy is a plus.
• Familiarity with IsaMills and/or Albion technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients.
