About the opportunity

With a growing team, exciting projects and a supportive manager, now is the ideal time to join us at Transgrid as our Corporate Communications Senior Manager.

Youll be responsible for shaping, sharing and promoting Transgrid and Lumeas stories to its most important audience – our people. The key role develops and champions Transgrids internal communications strategy within the Stakeholder, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs function.

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs General Manager, you will lead your team and influence other teams to ensure our communications connect our people with business goals, further our strategic goals, reinforce our desired culture, and build engagement, community and advocacy.

About you

Were looking for an established corporate communications leader to elevate and lead the function so we can achieve the ambitious targets and projects in the pipeline. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications at Degree level in Business, Public Relations or Communications or relevant discipline – or equivalent industry experience
  • Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, consult, negotiate and network with internal stakeholders to shape and tell internal news, stories and campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully meet competing deadlines, influence outcomes to accomplish organisational objectives
  • Demonstrated sound analytical skills to assess the impact of issues and provide relevant input in analysis of business needs
