About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are inviting applications for the role of Global Senior Manager Continuous Improvement. This exciting opportunity will support the President SHES, Discrete Manufacturing & Supply in the development and implementation of Oricas global continuous improvement strategy for SHES, Discrete Manufacturing and Supply Chain, driving the organisation towards strategic execution and success.
In this pivotal and high-profile role, you will lead transformational projects that enhance operating and business processes, driving key manufacturing and supply chain initiatives forward. You will collaborate closely with our Global and Regional Manufacturing & Supply teams to develop and implement plans that boost the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of continuous improvement practices, delivering direct and measurable financial results to the bottom line.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a background in global continuous improvement or operational/supply chain excellence leadership roles, a passion for problem-solving, and strong commercial, numeracy, and execution skills. This is a key role within our proud global, market-leading organisation, where your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, along with your ability to be an inspiring people leader, will enable you to thrive.
What you will be doing
- Develop and execute a continuous improvement strategy to achieve operational excellence across Oricas global supply chain network;
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritise, and implement supply chain process improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies;
- Analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement standardized workflows to drive consistency and scalability;
- Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement across global teams by fostering engagement, collaboration, and accountability;
- Design and deliver training programs to senior leadership to build organisational capability in continuous improvement methodologies;
- Benchmark, track, and analyse annual performance metrics and procurement savings to demonstrate continuous improvement and progress against strategic objectives.
What you will bring
- Proven experience in a senior continuous improvements or operational/supply chain excellence within a global organisation;
- Bachelors degree in engineering, operations, science or related field (post-graduate qualification or MBA highly regarded);
- Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (certification preferred);
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects with measurable business outcomes;
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions;
- Agility to thrive in a changing and growing global business.
