Senior Engineer

An opportunity for an experienced engineer to be a key part of Judo’s engineering team shaping practices and ways of working. We have a lean internal engineering chapter, whom have recently worked on a core banking migration to Thought Machine. You will get to work on and drive everything from core banking services, through to other large technically challenging initiatives and digital journeys to support our bankers and customers.

A little bit about you

The skills youve picked up along the way:

• Expertise with Python / AWS (although we prefer an experienced polyglot engineer)
• Developing API services and experience with event driven architectures (Thought Machine Kafka expertise a bonus)
• Ability to learn new domains quickly and leverage knowledge to technically problem solve issues

Your life pre-Judo:

• 3 years’ experience with Python / Typescript
• Worked on at-scale operational services
• Experience with AWS core services (S3 / RDS / Lambda / ECS etc)
• Experience with cloud native core banking platforms a bonus!
• Australian working rights
